As our next Maintenance Supervisor, reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results. Your success will be measured by your ability to maintain fleet availability and develop the skills of your crew.
Some of your duties will include:
- Being accountable for the maintenance of all on site mobile equipment
- Ensuring the equipment fleet achieves maximum availability for minimal cost
- Provide leadership and direction to maintenance personnel, including sub-contractors
- Developing the skills of your crew
The QCoal Northern Hub is situated in the Bowen Basin in Central Queensland, about 200 kilometres’ northwest of Mackay and 6km south of Collinsville.
What Skills and Experience do you need?
- Trade Certificate/Engineering degree or equivalent qualifications
- Experience in a mobile mining plant maintenance environment
- Experience supervising a site based maintenance team
- Knowledge of job specific computer programs essential
- Relevant qualifications / competencies to undertake a Supervisor role
You will be an integral member of the site leadership team driving safety, maintenance improvement, cost reduction, equipment performance and selection. A history of leadership where you have developed staff is essential. Excellence in maintenance of heavy equipment is needed in this role. You will be comfortable to operate unsupervised in a unique team culture.
