As our next Safety Advisor (UG) reporting to the HSET Manager, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.

With a 12/9 FIFO roster from Perth, you will thrive on meeting all goals and challenges, and act with fairness and integrity in all that you do.

Some of your duties will include;

  • Coordinate and implement safety systems and procedures to ensure they are compliant in both surface and underground mining scenarios
  • Deliver on safety management plans and safety objectives
  • Interrogate data to identify trends and potential corrective measures to reduce incidents/events
  • Facilitate incident investigations as required and mentoring of key roles in incident investigation processes
  • Conduct inspections and audits on a regular basis to identify deficiencies

     What skills and experience do you need?

  • 3 - 5 years in a similar role
  • Minimum Diploma in OHS and/or Cert IV TAE
  • Possibly consider Cert IV qualification depending on years  of HSE industry experience
  • Extensive experience in underground mine operations with exposure to open cut and surface mining practices
  • Sound knowledge of West Australian OHS legislation and mine regulations
  • AS/NZ 4801.2001 Audit Qualification
