We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Asset Engineer to join our Thiess Component Rebuild Centre based in Darra, QLD.
Some of your duties will include:
- Leading technical projects to increase workshop efficiencies and component reliability
Provide technical support to the Engineering Superintendent, Workshop Superintendent and the Workshop Manger
Undertaking analysis and making recommendations specific to component quality and reliability
Conduct failure analysis’ through partnering with site personnel and asset operation managers
Maintain documentation and systems in alignment with CRC requirements
Liaise with external suppliers
Comply with Health, Safety and Environment guidelines, systems and procedures
What skills and experience do you need?
- Minimum 5 years mining industry experience, with 2 years site experience
Mentoring graduate and undergraduate engineers
Proficient use of CMMS – JDE experience preferred
Experience within component repair environment, advantageous
